Aquis Exchange

From Tuesday 26 November 2013, LCH.Clearnet Ltd will commence clearing of equity trades executed on Aquis Exchange. The launch segments will include the main indices covering UK, French and Dutch securities. Further segments will be added in due course and clearing will be on an interoperable basis.

LCH.Clearnet Ltd offers clearing services to Members of Aquis Exchange through its EquityClear service, whereby Clearing Members will benefit from margin offsets and collateral efficiencies from centralised clearing. Also Members will benefit from reduced clearing costs with increased volumes through the global incremental tariff.

Aquis Exchange is set to revolutionise the European trading landscape by its introduction of subscription pricing and innovative order types. The aim of Aquis Exchange is to encourage growth through its pricing model and to lower the trading costs maintained by the existing duopoly, by bringing fresh competition into the marketplace.
