Member Reporting Service Enhancement

Dear Member

LCH.Clearnet Ltd is pleased to advise that as part of service improvements to the reporting infrastructure and following a successful member test, we can now offer members the ability to access and download all report data through a Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP).

Members current access to report data is through a browser based application, Member Reporting (Memberlive), where members can view, manually download or in some cases use automation tools like curl (not supported by LCH.Clearnet) to download the report data.

SFTP will provide a more efficient and secure method for members to automate the downloading of report data, using a single sign-on and public encryption keys to ensure security.

This service is offered to members at a Legal entity level, i.e. members will have access to report data as it appears in Member Reporting (Memberlive), including the folder structure and report formats, for all mnemonics associated with the legal entity. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the member to ensure that the accessing, storing and distribution of report data within the member organisation is managed accordingly.

Members wishing to use this SFTP facility should contact the Member Connectivity team, see below for details.

This service is supplemental to existing methods of accessing report data through Member Reporting (Memberlive) and as such members deciding not to use SFTP need take no further action.

Please note: With the introduction of the new Banking System, additional folders will be set-up within Member Reporting (Memberlive) for member Cover Calling Groups (CCG’s). As such members choosing to use SFTP for downloading of report data will also have access to any banking reports associated with these CCG folders.

For more information regarding these CCG Banking folders, please speak to your Banking project representative, or alternatively contact the LCH.Clearnet Banking project team at:-

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions, or require further clarification.
