Enhanced Member Reporting

During Q2 2011 enhancements will be introduced to Banking Member Reporting.

Currently, Business Objects reporting tool is used to generate and view Banking reports. LCH.Clearnet will switch to publishing reports in PDF files instead of Business Objects .rep files. 

Providing the reports in pdf format offers the following advantages:

• It is easier for you to read the reports, and to share them within  your organisation
• Requires no specialist reporting software
• Eliminates the previous risk of potential errors when using different versions of Business Objects
• Removes the need for out of date software with limited support

• Enables us to deliver change to you more rapidly

All other aspects of member reporting will stay the same, specifically: 

• Equivalent reports will be published to the same folders on the member website
• File names will be as now, but with  ‘.rep’ replaced by ‘.pdf’
• The reports will look almost identical in style and format
• Text files, used by many to drive STP, will continue to be produced with no changes
• There will be no changes to the timing of report availability

You will have the opportunity to access sample .pdf and .txt reports before the changes go live.
