Collateral Management System Upgrade

A new release of the Collateral Management Ststem (CMS) will be put into production on the weekend of the 16/17 March 2013. Users will notice that CMS will have a new user interface which will provide an improved user experience.

No action is required from Clearing Members with respect to this release

All of the current CMS functions will remain unchanged but some additional features have been added:

• Once logged into the Portal, users should navigate as usual to the Collateral Management tab. The CMS application can then be launched from the Collateral Management homepage.
• On launching the application the Instruction Summary screen will be displayed, which provides details of any instructions that are pending authorisation. This will allow users to quickly access these instructions without having to perform a search.

Users set up with Input/Authorisation access, for either securities or cash instructions, will be granted access to the following new functions which provide additional audit/security:

• User profiles – Provides the user with details of other user profiles with access to the same mnemonics; and
• Instructions by User – Provides the user with details of instructions input and authorisations of other users for the same mnemonic.
