Invitation to participate in LCH.Clearnet Disaster Recovery Tests

LCH.Clearnet members are invited to participate in one of two LCH.Clearnet disaster recovery tests scheduled to take place in September.

This will be an opportunity for members to check connectivity between our systems and, where possible, access to our website and reporting systems during a simulated incident. We strongly encourage members to participate in this test in order to ensure that they are familiar with LCH.Clearnet’s disaster recovery processes.

Ahead of these tests, our network provider BT Radianz will make minor configuration changes at member sites.

Action required

We would be grateful if members pass this notice on to their Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery representative to:

1. Provide the contact details of an onsite technical resource to facilitate the BT Radianz changes.
2. Confirm your preferred date if you would like to participate in one of the proposed disaster recovery events.

Preparatory work by BT Radianz

BT Radianz will add a routing configuration to the equipment (NetScreen) hosted at member sites. This will allow connection to LCH.Clearnet’s data centre in Paris.
Member support would be much appreciated as BT Radianz work to ensure completion within the timeframes.
