Member Self Certification on Nodal Clearing System

Further to LCH.Clearnet Ltd Circular 3351 – Clearing System Conversion for Nodal Exchange (http://www.lchclearnet.com/member_notices/circulars/2013-11-21.asp) we would like to inform members that TRS/CPS will be decommissioned in April 2014 to be replaced by the Nodal Clearing System (NCS).

We therefore request members test the new NCS and complete the Self Certification by 31 March 2014. The purpose of the testing is to enable Clearing Members to familiarise themselves with the functionality of NCS, and to test the connection and interaction of their own Back Office applications with NCS and LCH Member Reporting.

We will be replacing the Clearing Member Report (CMR) which is currently produced in TRS/CPS with Clearing Member Statement (CMS). CMS is available in the LCH.Clearnet Member reporting test environment and will be deployed to production on 10 March 2014 on the LCH.Clearnet Member Reporting website in the Nodal folder.

To assist Clearing Members using the Nodal Clearing System (NCS), a new reference guide is available. Getting Started on Nodal Exchange: A Guide for Clearing Members provides screen shots of the Nodal Exchange User Interface, as well as a description of the key activities carried out by Clearing Members. This will be sent by the Nodal Exchange shortly, and available on request thereafter.
