Enhancements of the Italian debt clearing services

Extension of the CCP Service to Overnight Repos – Live date

LCH.Clearnet SA would like to inform its Members that the target live date for the introduction of CCP services for Overnight Repos is 19 October 2009, subject to successful testing.

As a reminder, the service will be available for Italian government bonds on all trading platforms and will bring CCP guarantee and anonymity to Overnight Repos currently traded bilaterally.

Membership

No additional membership is required. Existing members will automatically benefit from this new service.

Testing period

LCH.Clearnet SA will participate in the full chain test organized with all involved participants (trading platforms, Monte Titoli, CC&G and settlement agents) from 14 September 2009 to 15 October 2009.
