Reminder of the project

As a reminder, LCH.Clearnet SA undertook a project aiming at renewing its cash and derivatives legacy clearing systems, including a technology refresh (Linux migration).

No impact for members is expected as the business model, service offer, functionalities and connectivity means will remain unchanged.

Planning confirmation

Following the GMM held in December 2009, LCH.Clearnet SA would like to confirm the UCS planning and inform members that the cash equity launch is scheduled for:

12 November 2010

The Derivatives plan is currently being reassessed; the detailed planning and dates for testing and launch will be communicated in the following weeks.

External Testing

Testing principles remain the same as those presented during the GMM:

• 3 weeks of free testing per business line (cash and derivatives) for all members
• Focus on limited non-regression tests with pilot members and ISVs during the same period.

The cash equity testing will occur from 21 October to 10 November 2010.

GMM

Due to the new planning mentioned above, the GMM initially scheduled for May is postponed. We will keep you informed of the revised communication plan in due course.
