Tests and Launch

LCH.Clearnet SA is pleased to confirm that the UCS cash testing period will start, as planned, on
Thursday 21 October.

The launch is expected to take place on Friday 12 November 2010 as previously announced.

Frozen period on the testing environment (EUA)

After the renewal of the current EUA (External User Acceptance) platform and in anticipation of
the testing period, LCH.Clearnet SA informs members and ISVs that the new EUA platform will
be frozen from Monday 11 October to Wednesday 20 October 2010.

During this period, LCH.Clearnet SA will upgrade and stabilise the EUA platform and start specific
tests with “Pilot” members / ISVs; there will be no testing and no access via traditional interfaces
(LCAP and e-CCW) and configuration changes will not be authorised during this period.

Should members require carrying out “business as usual” tests, they are kindly invited to contact
the Product Implementation Manager or their local Account Manager as soon as possible.
